Delete your account and data
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This page explains how to delete your Store Soft data and, if you have one, your Store Soft account. There are two separate things you can delete, and you can do either one without the other: your business data (products, sales, customers, debts…) and your account (the email and password you sign in with for multi-device sync).
Contents
Option 1 — Delete your business data in the app
The app can erase all of your business data by itself. This is the fastest way, and it does not need our help.
- Open Store Soft and sign in as the owner.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the danger zone at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Clear all business data and confirm.
The app takes a backup snapshot first, then deletes. If your shop uses multi-device sync, the deletion is applied to every device in your store, not just the one you are holding — the other devices empty themselves the next time they sync.
What this removes
- Products, categories, barcodes and units
- Stock lots, stock movements and price history
- Sales and receipts
- Customers and their credit / debt records (الكريدي)
- Suppliers and their debt records
- Cash sessions, cash movements and expenses
- Repair tickets and their parts
What this keeps
- Your user accounts inside the app (owner and staff logins)
- Your app settings (language, shop name, printing…)
- Your licence key
- Your Store Soft account, if you have one — use Option 2 for that
Option 2 — Delete your whole account
To delete your Store Soft account and everything stored on our servers, send us a request. We do this by email because we need to confirm the request really comes from the account owner.
Email younes.mimene@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”, and include:
- The email address of the account — please send the request from that same address so we can verify it is you
- Your store code (the 6-character code from Settings → Sync), if you still have access to it — this helps us find your store faster
You can also reach us on WhatsApp, but we will still confirm the deletion by email to the account address.
How long it takes. We action deletion requests within 30 days, and normally much sooner. We will email you to confirm once it is done. You do not need to keep the app installed while you wait.
What gets deleted, and what we keep
Deleted when you delete your account
- Your sign-in credentials (email address and password)
- Your store record and its subscription status
- The list of devices enrolled in your store
- Every business record synced to our servers — products, sales, customers, suppliers, debts, cash and stock history
What we keep, and why
- Anonymous usage and crash statistics. The app sends anonymous counts (installs, opens) and stripped crash reports that identify a device only by a one-way hashed value. These carry no name, email or business data, and there is no way to trace them back to you or to reverse the hash — so they cannot be found and removed once your account is gone. They stay in our aggregate statistics.
- Payment and invoicing records. If you paid for a sync subscription, we may keep the record of that payment where accounting or tax law requires it. It is kept for that purpose only.
Deleting the data on your device
Your business data is stored on your own device and never leaves it unless you turn on Drive backup or sync. To remove that local copy, do either of these:
- Use Settings → danger zone → Clear all business data in the app (see Option 1), or
- Uninstall Store Soft. On Android, uninstalling the app deletes its local database with it. On Windows, uninstall the app and delete its data folder.
Deleting your Google Drive backups
If you turned on the optional Google Drive backup, your backup files are in your own Google Drive, in a hidden app folder — we have no access to them and cannot delete them for you. You can remove them from inside the app (Settings → Backup), or turn off the backup and disconnect Store Soft from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
